With lots of information in the news at the moment regarding the Coronavirus, it is really important that individually we all do that we can to reduce the risk of spreading this virus. By staying fit and healthy can help illuminate your chances of not only catching the virus but also help your immune system fight it if caught.
Try to avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes unless washed first, this virus can stay alive on the outside of the body for up to 6 hours – wash those hands! Before you leave your house, before and after prepping food, after being on public transport any close contact with others in public areas and after being in the gym. It has been recommended we wash our hands for at least 20 seconds to ensure all germs are removed. If you need to sneeze or cough do so in to a tissue and bin the tissue and wash your hands after, if you do not have a tissue do this on the inside of your elbow to avoid the chances of spreading.
Symptoms can include cough, high temperature and short of breath, just like having the flu or a fever.
